Rainwater Tank Rebate
The Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW (DECC) are offering Rainwater Tank Rebates to existing households across NSW. The rebate provides up to $1500, depending on the size of the tank and whether it is connected to toilets and washing machines.

Deniliquin Council has resolved to match the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) rainwater tank base rebate to a maximum amount of $500.
Ratepayers within the Deniliquin water reticulation area who pay water rates are eligible to apply.
Terms and conditions are as for the DECC rebate, with the Council rebate available for tanks purchased and installed between 15 November 2007 and 30 June 2009. Any extension beyond June 2009 will be considered by Council in next year's Management Plan.
Applicants need to apply for and obtain the DECC rebate before making application to Council. Application forms for the DECC rebate are available on their website http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/rebates/ccfrtw.htm
